A lower voltage setting! The regular 14KV gun works much better on tight spots. The 50KV guns lowest setting is over twice the voltage as the regular gun. Add a switch to the gun that allows it to adjust down to the same voltage as the cheaper gun. The new gun also makes it harded to get a Non-Orange peeling finish. I am having to finish the part off with the gun OFF in order to get less orange peel.

have not purchased yet, but will influence my decision on which gun I will buy.
I want the adjustable power, but will not want to be stuck with that bracket of adjustablity that was previously mentioned. |

I've been reading a few things like this posted and being I am buying my first gun soon I also am leaning more towards the lower cost unit for the same reasons. At first I was thinking about trying to get the money for the adjustable unit and buy it but now thinking I should just get the cheaper one. I'll need to do close spaces and tight spots alot on the parts I want to do.
