Copy Chrome Solution is a red color when mixed with the Distilled Water and Brightener.
I believe that the Crystal are also red when dry, a very dark red if I remember correctly. The dullness that you are experiencing may be due to a dull finish prior to going to the Copy Chrome. Have you tried to polish the piece afterward? Curtis
