I have a combination of steel, brass and pot metal parts I want to plate. I purchased the 1.5 gal copy chrome/copper flash kit to address the pot metal issue. On some of the old chrome non pot metal parts I have the old plating is worn but reasonably smooth, not rusted. Can I copy chrome over existing chrome plating or do I need to remove it first?
