Default sandblasting

im currently sandblasting parts before polishing and chroming them.
but they never turn out right.

should i use a pickle instead of sandblasting

what kind of parts are you polishing. i don't think blasting is typically the way to go, since it's probably overly aggressive and leaves the substrate with a rough profile. use the search feature and there are good discussions about polishing steps like what sandpapers to use in what order followed by a sequence of polishing compounds.

the parts im doing are hard to sand with sand paper, i was looking for a chemical stripper or maybe a certain tumbler meadan that would polish

I never sand blast (even glass bead) unless it is rusted and pitted. It depends on the part and what it needs. There are many options. Do you have any pics? Then we can give more advise. Todd
