Fast Gold Shelf Life

I see that Fast Gold has a 4 month shelf life.
I have a bottle about that age.
Is it completely useless now?
or can it
(a) be used on activated surfaces?
or
(b) can something be added to it to make it usable?
Anybody had any experience or ideas?

Don't know the chemistry but the alkalinity may break down. It's supposed to be 9.0-9.5. If you have a pH tester, check it. Without knowing what chemistry is being used, I would be hesitant to add anything to raise the pH back up. Put a call/message into Tech Support and see if they can recommend an agent if the pH has dropped.

In any case, try option "a". If it works, it works. Then get busy and plate stuff.

The Plug N Plate Gold has a 4 month shelf life

Once the product has expired, there is no way to recover it.
