    Default HELP! power supply

    MODE: NSP-2050/3630/6016

    what do i do with number 8 GND , I am using copy chrome kit don't i just use + and - ?

    1- Power Switch :
    Turns the power supply on–off, when it is on the front display lights up.
    2- AC Input Socket with Fuse
    3- Concealed Fuse box ( ply open the cover to get to the fuse)
    4- Output Voltage Tuning knob
    5- Output Current Tuning knob.
    6- Output On/Off push button
    7- Output Terminal Positive (+) Red color.
    8- GND Terminal () Green color
    Chassis ground terminal, normally this is to be short to (+) or (-) as required by user.
    9- Output Terminal Negative (-) Black color.
    10- LCD Display panel showing :
    4 digit voltage, current meter, (CV) constant voltage mode, (CC) constant current mode,
    Output Terminal on/off state
    OPERATIONS
    Ground Connection

    I did some research, and found that it "8" becomes a common ground. It's useful for reducing electro-magnetic interference like the same "noise" you get out of audio systems sometimes. Not of much use to you and your application. Mine aren't hooked up, and have been using them for a while now. If you were running a computer off your supply or an amplifier it would be necessary. Don't worry about it.
