Default Gold plating watches

Hello all! As a Newbee to electroplating I have a question.
Assume I have (zero) products.
What do I need?
Here is what I will use them for:
Restoring vintage watches.
The rolled gold plating will wear off the high spots of the watches as well as damaged areas such as the lugs (The place where the watch attaches to the band).
Also, Stainless cases that are worn as well as Nickel plated areas.
Thanks for all your help! (In advance)
Rusty

You'll need some polishing supplies, and likely a gold and nickel brush plating system. It works well for small parts.

Thanks for the imput.
Which gold plating solution would be best?
I was told that some solutions will bother the skin.
Also, how far will the solution go? i.e. To replate 50 normal sized watches with (Average)plating how much solution will be needed?
Thanks again,
Rusty

Either of the Plug N' Plate Gold solution, or the FastGold will work fine.

You're not supposed to apply it with your hands Seriously, neither of these solutions should result in a gold layer that bothers the wearer. (That's what you meant, right?)

1-2 small bottles should be plenty. You could also buy some Cabosil powder that turns the solution into a Gel, making it less drippy and thus less wasteful.
