Are you setting up a Commercial Zinc Plating line? Or are you going to do "Hobby Plating" on small parts?
If you plan on doing Commercial Plating, I would attend the appropriate plating schools offered to learn all facets
of plating, bath testing, knowledge of general chemistry, etc.
If you are only going to do "Hobby Plating", go to Plating Kits Electroplating Kits Aluminum Anodizing Kits Powder Coating Systems Metal Polishing And Buffing Supplies - Caswell Inc., click on the plating tab, search for
Zinc/Copy-Cad Plating and check-out the various size "kits" Caswell offers. No sense buying a thousand gallon
set-up to plate a handful of nuts and bolts.
The Zinc/Copy-Cad Plating Set-up is separate from the Chromates (Black, Blue, Yellow, etc.).. These are
"after plate dips" that seals the zinc from sacrificing it's protection too fast, plus the Chromates look good.
Determine what you are going to plate and Chromate FIRST, then go from there.
