Get yourself a polishing kit and polish each part to perfection after degreasing and before plating.
I recently purchased a Rossi Model 92 Replica Rifle. I wanted the Brass/Blued finish but they only make that finish in 45 colt, which is not the caliber I wanted. I ended up with a .44 Mag but the finish is Blued Steel... I'd like to Brass Plate the Receiver, Barrel Forend Cap and Butt Plate... I know I first need to Nickel Plate before I Brass Plate... I'm assuming after dissassembly, I'll need to remove the factory Blueing and degrease everything very well... Any other tips I need to know about...? I'd like the rifle to ultimately look like the pic...
Thanks in advance for the replies...

The finish depends on the prep. (Obvious but true) the piece in that pic was buffed to high heaven and back. Do the same and your chances are High.
