    Default Building a Fume Extractor

I want to build a fume extractor similar to the one diagramed in the Caswell Manual. It calls for an all plastic pump and a mist nozzle. I have not had luck finding those items. Anyone know where to get them?

Check harbor freight. The last pump I got was from there, and it had a bunch of accessories to setup up water falls and sprinklers with it - I'm sure you could make it work with a little creativity.

Knowing what part of the World you're in might help answer your question.
You can get misting nozzles at home centers. Look around the shop fan section. If you're in the Northern Hemisphere, this is the time of the year they'll be in stock. You can get a kit that comes with multiple nozzles, hose, fittings and a valve. You don't even need to run a pump. Just power the kit from a lawn hose. (That's what these kits are designed to use.) Dialed down, you get a good mist and it uses about five gallons of water all day with a couple of misters.
