A charcoal filter will remove the brightener.
Is there a easy way of taking out the brightner in my copy cad tank?? Do i have to use 2 tanks, I hate to keep taking brightner out when i switch jobs, any ideas or do i need to make up another tank??

As Zincplater said.. charcoal filter.. However, if you do a LOT of Zinc Plating, and need to swap back and forth between a bath without brightener and one with, it would be better, in the long run, to just set-up a second Zinc bath (just don't get them confused ;-})..
Another option, if you can do it, is to simply wait until you have a lot of "non-brightener" items to plate, and a lot of items that need brightener.. Do the non-brightener parts first, then add the brightener and do those parts.. Hopefully the last "load" will deplete the brightener, and you'll be set for the next non-brightener session..
This has got to beat filtering the bath after several uses, wasting brightener..
Just a thought.
