Stripping gold plate
I have a question regarding the best way to remove gold plate from a
brass item. One way would be to reverse the polarity of the anode/cathode. My question is: doing this, would brass would be removed from the base item and contaminate my gold anode? Is there a better way to remove the gold (without losing it like by buffing)? Thanks for your assistance!
