I would like to brass plate some antique hardware that has some scratches and has worn the barss plating off. What products do I need to prep the metal, plate and polish?
I want a class A job. Also, will multiple lawerers of plating do a better job? Jeff

What\'s the base metal of the part you want to brass plate?
You\'ll probably just need some buffing compound and degreaser. You need to get the base metal highly polished before you brass plate for best results. Yes, mutilple layers, with polishing between each layer, will result in a richer, thicker plated finish.
