boron plating on electroplated Nickel
I refinish handguns as part of my gunsmithing services. I use electroplated
Nickel rather than electroless because of better control, economy, and waste disposal. I did not see references to plating Boron Nitride on previously electroplated Nickel. I got the impression that I could simply follow my Nickel plating immediatly with the boron plating. Is that right? Would boron plating the entire gun reduce the briliance or affect the color of Nickel plated on polished steel? thanks, Jack F
