1. Is it essential to remove all old nickel and copper before replating a bronze casting with electroless chrome?
2. No degreaser is included in the kit - isn't some cleaning needed after buffing before immersing in the plating solution? |

Old nickel should be removed (or activated with a pickel) prior to plating with elec Krome. You can plate straight over old copper.
Yes, you can use any common, hardware store, degreasing agent. You must get rid of any buffing wax etc.
