I have some chromed aluminum motorcycle parts I would like to satin nickel finish (electroless). I've had great success on bare steel by bead blasting with glass beads and then using the Caswell electroless nickel kit.
Will nickel stick to chrome? I'd like to bead blast the chrome for a satin finish, and then nickel plate over that. Thanks, George |

You must remove the chrome plate. Underneath the chrome plate should be a nickel plate, which you can satin nickel.
You will also need to activate the old nickel plate first using the nickel activator pickel in the manual.
