I have been wondering, can aluminum be electroplated on to steel? I have some steel parts that I would like to plate with aluminum, then anodize.
I recall reading in some old manual that aluminum required somewhere around 200 amps per sq.ft. to plate. This manual is about 80 years old, so I dont know how accurate it is. Is what I am asking possible to do? Any suggestions, help? Thanks, --Martin-- |
