Default noob questions

Triple chrome plating system

I see that some of the anodes contain lead.Would I be able to use pure lead sheets for plating purposes? If yes ,what is the optimal thickness?

Also ,I see that it is recomended to remove the anodes and store after use. What about the heaters and pumps? Can I leave them in?

What is the going rate for chrome these days? What do most shops charge by square inch ,or what is the consumption cost of the chemicals?

I haven't even got my system online ,let alone have a technique yet and I already have people wanting chrome so I'll prolly be posting a lot ,discoveries and questions. Thanks for any help and good plating all
