Default platic plating

I want to have very thick coating on platic part. All I am worried is how to get nice initial coat...Should I stick copper powder and do ELectroless nickel plating ?

Any suggessions..

Have a look at our new Silvachrome kit at http://www.caswellplating.com/silvachrome.html.

It's a much easier process than conductive powder.
