I am just looking into doing some electroplating.
Either nickel or chrome on small parts, and the plug-n-plate products seems like a great first step. My question is, how durable is this plating? Will it stand up to use and handling or is it for looks only? Thank You for your replies!! |

the plating results are the same, i started out brush plating myself but soon learned that tank plating is so much easier and less time consuming, i only use brush plating now for minor touch up work but still use fastgold to do all my gold plating. so yes brushplating would be a good starting point for you. if you are going to use regular chrome you will have to use nickel first.
