Default 'Plug-N-Plate' durability??

I am just looking into doing some electroplating.
Either nickel or chrome on small parts, and the plug-n-plate products seems like a great first step.

My question is, how durable is this plating? Will it stand up to use and handling or is it for looks only?

Thank You for your replies!!

the plating results are the same, i started out brush plating myself but soon learned that tank plating is so much easier and less time consuming, i only use brush plating now for minor touch up work but still use fastgold to do all my gold plating. so yes brushplating would be a good starting point for you. if you are going to use regular chrome you will have to use nickel first.
