HELP!
I bought a combo plug-n-plate kit (flash copper and nickel), and Black Krome. I was told that I need to apply flash copper, then nickel, then black chrome. The flash copper goes on very good, and the part is smooth, but I cannot get the nickel onto the part. I've tried heating the nickel solution, and hooking the wand to the side of a glass and dipping the lug into the solution. This last time I got some of the nickel onto the part, but the nickel plating is not smooth. Also, the part has some black streaks on it. What do I need to do? Will agitating the part work? Will the black chrome be as difficult as the nickel? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Joe Migliaccio |
