I've seen the chroming kits on http://www.caswellplating.com for $495.00 (2 gallons) and i was wondering how many rims i could chrome with this kit? also, approximately how long will it take me to do one rim? thanks

This question really belongs in the plating forum, not the polishing forum.
Rims are too large to plate with our plating kits. Because you need 1 - 1.5 amps/sq in surface area of the part to chrome plate, the power requirements are just too big. You'd need a power source that outputs several hundred amps, plus a huge quantity of chrome solution to plate bumpers or rims.
