Default Satin Chrome

I have many old cameras with a Satin Chrome finish, but many are Brassed (chrome worne off in patches).

I would be interested to know how Satin chrome is done. I am a newbie to this hobby, but collecting cameras for thirty years...

are you sure what your calling chrome its just a bright nickel plating, the least expensive route when new would of been for the company to have the brass nickel plated
