I have the need to brass plate some small pieces of typical workshop hardware like you get at the home improvement store: padlock latches, chest handles, etc. The brass plating is for color and surface finish is not critical. My plan is to use Plug 'n Plate.
Q: Can I plate the brass directly on to the zinc, or do I need to add any intermediate steps? If so, what steps? Thanks |
