Default Removing old finish
I tried removing old nickel plating by immersing in muratic acid one part to 2 parts water. It didn\'t touch it. I read that this was supposed to remove chrome, why will it not remove nickel?

Default Re: Removing old finish
By using an acid pickle made from diluted battery acid and a stainless steel or lead sheet, you can reverse plate the nickel. This technique is described in detail in our plating manual.
