Default POLISHING ELECTROLESS NICKEL

HOW MUCH POLISHING IS INVOLVED WHEN ELECTROLESS NICKEL PLATING IS DONE TO AN ITEM TO MAKE IS SHINE THE BEST?

Shouldn't have to if you polished before plating. Chances of getting much, if any, brighter is limted.

I always treat my plating as I do gold and silver after the post-plating rinse; I rub them with a wet baking soda paste.

Lightly applied Flitz polish will also keep the brightness up. Going to a wheel, unless you have a LOT of experience, can remove plating.

Even then I use a small (4") wheel for less SFPM and it's made of soft chamois for jewelry work.
