Any problem with this procedure?
I'm currently waiting for some supplies from Caswell to arrive in the mail, and this is what I plan to do:
I've stripped the Gun Blue finish from a raw Carbon Steel golf club that I'd like to refinish. What I've ordered is the plug-in kits for Copper and Black Krome. Provided I plate the surfaces in this order, should I see any problem in my finished result (I have no preference between a dull or polished look). And how much will decorative sandblasting damage the chrome surface? Should I sandblast before or after the copper plating - or sandblast after all plating is finished. Thank you for any help you're able to offer. -Jim
