Default one side of die cast

If I only want to plate one side of a die cast piece with copy chrome,as only the front will be seen, what is the best way to cover or mask the back side? In doing this do I still need to include the back side in the total sg inches? The piece is 3\"x5\". I will start with pot metal primer, then move to copper to fill some pits, then finally the copy chrome. Thanks in advance for all the help.

Default Re: one side of die cast

Use our product MASK-IT. Its the best way to mask off a part.

The coating will peel away after use.
