Default nothing is working

I have purchased a 16 gal triple chrome plating kit. Almost a year now and haven't turned out a decent part yet. I would like to find out if anyone knows where I might be able to travel to and obtain some training in plating. Will cover all expenses.

Some thoughts:

Have you considered working with a local plater in some capacity on weekends or evenings?

That might be a stretch but it's not out of the question. You might find someone locally willing to accept some free help in exchange for some learning and insight.

Also consider a local community college chemistry class. A lot of the mistakes that are made are due to the need to understand some chemistry basics.

Go back and read the manual cover to cover. You'll be surprised how much better we learn when we have made a few mistakes. It's just the way it is.

Well DD,if your free and looking for a plating job you might find one in Worcester,MA It would mean a trip and moving for you. I used to work for Bru**** Electroplating in Worcester. Located on Sutton Ln. They're listed in the Manufacturer's index unser Plating. You could send them a letter if your considering working there. They do everything except Gold plating. Lots of good experience there. Good Luck. Fred
