Gold Tank Plating Questions
I have a Caswell 24Kgold tank plating kit with one Caswell 24K anode. The 24K solution was out of stock when I ordered the kit so I will be using the Caswell 14K solution. I will like the less buttery color of the 14K.
Questions: Can I use two 999 fine gold anodes (1/4oz gold coins pounded flat). Will this affect the quality of the plate? Thoughts on what color I might get with this set up? What metal should I use to connect the anode to my bus bar? Is copper wire ok? What is the gray metal used on the Caswell 24K anode to make the connection? Thank You, Fritz
