    Correct applications?

    Hello all,
I am planning on doing some plating on major parts of a saxophone, and was wanting to know how effective the Plug'n'plate system is on large areas? I know it is great for small stuff, but will a larger application come out looking bad? Thanks,

Think of the bell of a trumpet, something like that. I was mostly wondering if the coating would be terribly uneven. I know dipping would be better, but the $ isn't there for me. Thanks for replying.
