Default GOLD plug N plate

Can I just buy the 4oz. Gold solution and use it with my rectifier?
I got the Stainless steel wand and never used it, will this work with the Gold? or do I need to buy another wand?

Default gold PnP

SS wand will work fine. A gold anode will make the solution go farther. By how much I don't know. 4 oz covers about 30 sq "
