I am restoring a 1977 Porsche 911. and have been advised to anodise the bolts and nuts to restore them to 'new' condition.
I thought anodising was for aluminium only. Can this be done, or should I nickel or cad plate them? Does the plating make the bolts too 'fat' to go throught the nuts? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. Dino. |
