Default HOW MANY AMPS ? Conflicting info

One place in the manual it says 1 amp per 16 square inches
Here in the forum it says 1 or 1.5 amp per square inch
Which is it ?

Its 1 amp per 16 sq . inches for Nickle and Copy Chrome. 1 amp per sq. inch for Real Chrome Plating.

For which plating process?? 1 amp / 16 sq in is for nickel & copper etc. 1- 1.5 amp / sq in is for chrome.

The manual I received with my hard chrome kit says to use 2 amps per sq. in. !!

hard chrome is an entirely different process than decretive chrome
