Un-plating Copper
I thought I was plating copper over nickel and brass (instrument valve) but I now think that it was chrome and brass. Will copper stick properly to chrome plating?

Yes, you could eventually strip the brass, so be careful.
Use a de-plating setup. Switch the polarity, use a GP Plate and muriatic acid. You\'ll have to strip the chrome first before copper plating. Nothing will plate over chrome.
