advice??

Hi

im atotaly new to plating, i have some small parts CNC'd out of aluminium.

i need to plate them, i have been looking at the Electroless Krome kits, this seems to be the best option for me to do inhouse.

however

i also want to use black chrome for one of the items, i have seen the plugandplate version:

can i use this on aluminium?
(im aware i have to Zincate the parts)
and should i dip or brush this on?? (will brushing produce a streaky finish??)

the item in question is made from 3/4" stock so is chunky but small in over all size.

Brush plating is a fairly simple process and is explained in the Caswell’s plating manual which
comes with any kit you choose it dose not leave streaks I use brush plating on a variety of small parts such as car emblems ect
