Default Zinc Brightener
How long does the brightener remain active in a 4 gallon batch of copy zinc. I plated a couple of pieces and would now like to plate a couple of pieces with copy cad.

How much did you add?

You can plate a larger piece of scrap metal for an hour - that should remove the brighteners and allow you to plate the dull/cad look.
