Hey how’s it going
using the plug and plate on the valve covers will work but I would recommend using copper also to help disperse heat defiantly get the letters and smooth and polished as you want them to look good luck if you have any more questions you can e-mail me I have been using the copy chrome system for over a year and have had great success

prep is everything with plating, what it looks like before plate is what it will look like after. Get even the smallest scatches out and polish to a high shine. I agree with the copper first for heat insulation.
