Had a succesful first plating of Copy Cad on GM disc brake backing plates but had to use 1.5 amps to get it to plate. The temp of the solution was only about 50*F which I know is 10*F lower than the minumun. Could this have been my problem or perhaps something else. Also the plating on the backing plates had minor light brown streaking (not real bad) but, was this caused by excessive current?
