need information on three stage plating

i need formulas on three stage plating IE preparation and treatment of mild steel components like classic motorcycle parts,copper flashing or other base treatmeents before nickle plating but what i really need is info on the nickle plating process details like cleaning/acid baths etc before the chrome plating
