sandblasting
Hi Iam interested on the copy chrome kit or the electroless krome kit. The parts that I want to plate are all aluminum but I think I have made a mistake on preparing them.
I sandblasted them which left the surface of the parts very pourus and rough. Do I have to polish them in order to plate the part and get the mirror like surface? Thanks.

Yes, you'll need to polish them first. You'll also need some Zincate solution so that the plate will stick on the aluminum.
