hello this is dave again. in our hobby plating chat group we were told that you had to use phosperous copper in the acid copper bath. my question is what happens if you use copper plates that came off of buse bars. i have some i got from work and they are not the oxygen free type that are 99.99% pure i called the vender and they said they were99.9% pure with oxygen in them, but they were not phousperous type. what is your take on this. will they be okay to use?

Are you referring to the anodes? In a hobby plating set-up, it doesn't really matter...copper is copper. However, if you're plating to specific industrial or military specifications you'll need to make sure your materials meet specs.
