Hey guys,
I purchased the Copy chrome wheel kit http://www.caswellplating.com/kits/wheelchrome.html and it does not come with any BRIGHT ACID Copper Plate materials? In the manual it pretty clearly states to copper flash (strike coat) then BRIGHT ACID Copper plate so I can polish. Is this step necessary to make a beautiful finish? |

No, you can use flash copper as a substitute. Acid copper is better at filling scatches and it buffs out quicker, but flash copper will do the same, it will just take longer for it to fill in and will take more coats.
