Default Clear coat over flash copper.

I finally am getting great looking aluminum parts through the flash copper. I need to preserve the shine of the copper and need some help. Will Dupli-color top clearcoat adhere to the copper and be durable or do I need to use VHT clear lacquer?

I have had great success with Caswells Zoop even on copper lasts up to two years
