Blue Chromium Question
what is this? Can I get the soulutions to do this?
if not, is there a comperable finish?? At work, we used to get grade 8 bolts that were plated in blue chromium for its anti-corrosion properties. the supplier said they cannot get this anymore due to epa regs. does anyone have an answer on what other finish could work for this application? thanks jason

I think that Copy chrome would work great it has a light blue tint and because it is cobalt steel with a cobalt solution it is a lot safer then chromium also it is not a problem for EPA in fact I was told by our local EPA it was the best replacement for chrome they had ever seen. Another good point it is considerably cheaper to set up and start plating
