Default Chrome Plating Stainless Steel:
How hard is it for a Commercial Plater to plate Stainless Steel versus the normal "standard" metal? Do they charge more? Is it a common thing they do?

Just want to know because I want to build a metal enclosure and have it plated at my local bumper/chrome shop.

It depends on the process they use. I would think it would be a fairly common application for them.
