can magnesium be anodized in your kit?

couple more questions about your anodizing kit:
1). the kit does not include any dyes, correct?
2). what if i want to anno a part but it wont fit in the container?

No, it doesn't work on magnesium.

No, it doesn't come with dyes. You pick the colors you want and buy them seperately.

If it doesn't fit in the tank, transfer the solution to a different sized tank. Any sturdy plastic container should work. Make sure it's acid resistant.

so whats a better buy? the small kit or the big kit. i will be doing mostly smaller parts but the bigger kit comes w/ more stuff. is the bigger kit worth the extra money?

The bigger kit allows you to anodize bigger parts. If you don't think you'll need the bigger kit, get the smaller one.

You can always buy more supplies later.
