For those of you who might have a problem with your anodes after using them for a while. If you have them set up in strips like mine are (3X12) with a 3" gap in between each one, and your having problems getting a part to plate. Make sure all of the anodes are activated, by looking at them and seeing a foaming action around the anode, if not then the anode is not activated. I do not take the anodes out of the tank, only if one is not activating, then I take the anode out and make sure where I have it hanging from and the rod that it is hanging from are both clean, not the whole anode just where it touches the rod.
The copper rod is half inch, and I rolled the anode over the rod to make it hang down in the tank.
