I just got the Copy Chrome kit for some parts on my dirtbike Im restoring. After reading some posts Ive come to the conclusion that my carb may be Pot metal and not aluminum.
Does anyone have any clues on this or should I just try to copy chrome it and see what happens. I didnt see the "Copy Chrome™/Flash Copper™ Combo Kit" when I bought the "Copy Chrome Kit" and for an additional $18 I would have bought it. Heres a pic of the carb after I glass beaded it. I took off the float bowl and used the aluminum polishing kit on it |
