Default looking to plate gold over silver

Hi

I'm looking to plate gold over silver parts. I noticed that Caswell offers either 24 or 18 carat gold. I would like to achieve this gold finish http://forum.caswellplating.com/phot...to/353/cat/502 anyone have any idea which gold it is? Also, is it the same gold as this one? I'm thinking the lighting might have something to do with the difference in shade? http://forum.caswellplating.com/phot...0/ppuser/23267

I'll probably be using the plug n plate kit. btw is fastgold with the much higher gold mix be an overkill or there will be a substancial difference and worth the extra $$?

Thanks for the help

Tim
